Ekit – Public Roadmap

Ekit is a web studio designed to manage multilingual data and build SSR websites / apps, built for developers, creators, and product teams.

This roadmap presents the product vision, major milestones, and key features, without going into technical details.

Server logic

  • ekit.methods.call(): public Methods callable from the browser, with rate limiting

Contextual AI & RAG

  • Project-level RAG: automatic vectorization of the tables and fields you choose, kept in sync
  • Multilingual semantic search, scoped to each project

Websites

  • Site forms (contact, booking, quote request…): each submission adds an entry to a table, with an optional email notification; forms are listed, edited and removed from the site editor — see Site forms
  • Readable Ekit address for every new site (your-name.preview.ekit.app), editable in the site settings
  • Built-in site analytics: page views, visitors, top pages, sources and devices, measured on the server without cookies — see Site analytics

Data

  • Grid and columns (kanban) views per table, grouped by a category field, with a default view for the team — see Views and linked entries
  • Linked entries shown on each entry (entries of other tables that point to it)
  • Creation and modification dates on every entry, also available in templates
  • Rich text: Markdown and HTML paste, HTML source view
  • Data import from CSV, Excel and Airtable exports: tables, field types and links between tables created automatically — see Import data

A faster start

  • Ready-to-use templates (simple CRM, SaaS landing page with a blog, restaurant, portfolio): your site is online in one click, with its tables and content
  • Simpler sign-up: Google and GitHub on the sign-up page, clear email confirmation

Projects & collaboration

  • Roles per collaborator: Admin, Editor (entries only) or Viewer
  • Full project export: one ZIP with all data (JSON + one CSV per table), files and site code — see Export your data
